About your Teacher:
Fiona Hesford is a fashion textile designer and stylist that has been working in the fashion industry for over 20 years. She has a passion for vintage, retro and folk styling, haberdashery, dresses and skirts, and reflecting this has recently launched a series of 'MAKE IT!' sewing kits including toys, bags and cushions for beginners.
Fiona is the creator of our hugely popular 'Make Your Mother Proud' sewing workshops that teach complete beginners and improvers how to sew.

Ideal for beginners and those new to dressmaking or to those with a bit more experience, who would like to sew in good company!
You will need 1.5m of medium weight cotton, a reel of matching thread, and a 20cm dress zip in a co-ordinating colour. Your hip and waist measurements need to be supplied prior to the workshop so that a pattern may be provided, please ask a Clothkits assistant if unsure.

Workshops are held in our colourful and cosy studio, above the shop. There is lots of space to spread out and a separate chill out area to have a break. The shop is located in central Chichester, about a 10 minute walk from the train and bus station. The closest car park is The Cattle Market.
