Would you like to learn how to make clothes from a paper pattern? Are you bemused by all the marks on the tissue and the sewing terminology? Could your sewing do with some guidance? Then the Complete Dressmaking course is for you!
During this class you will construct a finished garment of your choice from a pattern. Maria will help you achieve a professional finish by teaching you skills and techniques such as:
- Cutting from a pattern
- Making adjustments for a perfect fit
- Inserting zips
- Inserting sleeves
- Collars and facings
- Finishing seams and hems
- Using the overlocker
. . . and lots lots more!
About your Teacher:
As well as being an incredible designer, pattern cutter and seamstress Maria Pulley is also an excellent teacher, who's passion for sewing is infectious. She totally loves the whole process of creating a garment, from the concept through to the craft of making it.
Maximum class size of 6.

Workshops are held in our colourful and cosy studio, above the shop. There is lots of space to spread out and a separate chill out area to have a break. The shop is located in central Chichester, about a 10 minute walk from the train and bus station. The closest car park is The Cattle Market.
