The result of a design competition run by Clothkits, designer Sophia Swithern was on maternity leave from her role at Oxfam when she came up with the winning design ‘Three Birds and a Bike’.  Sophia’s fresh and bold dress pattern fitted perfectly with the Clothkits brief for a fun and quirky girl’s dress, and it started the ball rolling for a joint project with a shared ethos.

Produced in association with Oxfam  - £2.20 from each kit will go towards their great work - the kit is printed in the UK on 100% cotton.

The kit contains everything that you need to make the dress for girls age 2-4; printed fabric, lining, thread, labels and all necessary haberdashery, and easy to follow instructions too.  Online video instructions also available from the Clothkits website too.

Fun and easy to make, the dress would be an ideal project for the both the novice and expert stitcher. So dust down your sewing machines for a great cause, and have a beautiful frock to boot.
