Please note that the four week course starting on the 23rd May will not run on the 6th June to avoid half term, so will be on the 23rd and 30th May, then the 13th and 20th June.

Patchwork has never been so cool - and rightly so as it is great fun and produces beautiful results. You can select from fabrics in store or use up scrap fabrics or sentimental pieces of fabric to create your own memory quilt.

The four week course with Karen will show you all you need to know!

Four regular Wednesday morning sessions, 10am to 1pm

All tuition provided and use of our fine Janome sewing machines. Fabric requirements will be emailed to you.

Fabric Requirements for Quilt Top size 145cm x 145 cm

Fabrics quoted are 115cm wide and there are a wide selection in our shop.

Centre Panel: A total of six pieces of fabric, each 25cm from the bolt. Choose four assorted light and medium prints, plus two bolder ones.

Border fabric 1.25 metres

Corner fabric 25cm

It may be best to just choose fabrics for the centre panel to start with, and decide what borders to add once the centre is made.

Once the quilt top is completed backing fabric, wadding and binding will also be required.
