In this workshop, run by Jane Warren of The Lampshade Loft, you will learn all the skills needed to make accordion lampshades. Pleated to prefection these beauties are a classic from the 1970’s lighting scene, but are currently enjoying a revival in modern interiors. Jane will guide you through each step and by the end of the session you will be able to go on to make more shades, either professionally or for your own use.

Materials:
You will need a minimum of 35cm of Liberty Lawn (available to purchase at Clothkits) for your shade.
Please note your lampshade will be suitable for lamp bases only (not for ceiling/pendants), and the completed size will be a small shade - however, you will learn all the methods to make larger sizes of your choice.
You will also need to bring £12 for the special laminate which is paid directly to the tutor on the day.
