Clothkits Textile Design Competition
Are you a budding designer? Clothkits invite you to take part in our latest competition to design a skirt.
The deadline is noon Saturday May 9th and the brief is to come up with a design that is both contemporary, but inspired by traditional Clothkits designs from the 1970’s. If you like to work within a format, then you will find a downloadable template here. Whilst this template if for an simple A line skirt, submissions for other womens skirts / dresses are also acceptable, and the template is just a suggestion. Submissions need to be sent digitallly so if you are working with pen and paper you will need to scan in the design and then email this file to us. File formats can be in any photoshop readable file - so jpegs, tiffs etc are fine, but please keep file sizes to under 1mb. Email competition entries to info@clothkits.co.uk and mark the subject line ’skirt competition entry’.
Do let us know if you have any queries, and do pass on to anyone else that you might think is interested in doodling too! Designs must be of your own creation, and must be original unpublished work. It must not contain any third party logos, trademarks or copyright material. No clipart either please. Prize is £50 voucher to spend on any goodies in our online store. The competition is open to all, and there is also a special prize for the best entry from the under twelves (so do let us know your age if you fall into this category!). We reserve the right to sample the winning design for possible production. Now that IS exciting!
