Want to learn to sew with us? We have a selection of workshops coming up over the half term break. In Chichester we are making a simple shift dress on Friday 29th of May. Choose a Birdie dress, or from any of the shift dresses in our children’s range that takes your fancy. Workshop runs from 10am and should finish about 3pm, though we will continue until they are finished! All materials are provided and sewing machines are all ready to go. Venue is the Eternal Maker, Oving Road, Chichester. Pre booking is necessary.
Also this week you can go to the Arts and Crafts at The Painting Pottery Cafe in Brighton. On Wednesday and Thursday, Jac will be running workshops to make a simple gathered skirt. This is a great one to introduce older children into sewing - why not make it a mum and daughter day out? The skirt will fit firls up to the age of 14. Ooo, and then there are the lovely shops and cafes in Brighton for afterwards. Click through this link here to find out more.

I have just read about clothkits in august woman & home magazine and just had to look at your website. Such an inspiring article and “touchy feelie” website!
Anyway I have no idea how to sew but have a hankering to learn as it seems it’s such a satisfying, fun and enjoyable skill to have.
I would be looking to make clothes for myself rather than children and would therefore love to hear from you as and when you have ant workshops for a complete adult beginner.
Many thanks
Tina

Hi Tina and thanks for your lovely message - great to hear from you! The email newsletter we do is probably the best way to keep up with our next workshops etc (which you can find the link to on the home page of the website) or you could email me and I can add you in! We are also busy looking for premises to run LOTS of workshops from!
