I was recently interviewed for both Sew Hip and Sew magazine (comes out in July so I am told) about whether I still sew for pleasure - absolutely! I get less time to get out the machine in the working day (too much shuffling papers from one side of my desk to another) but I find it a very relaxing distraction at weekends. A bit of a busmans holiday I suppose… One of my last stich ups was this bustle skirt - the Echino fabic is designed by Etsuko Furuya for Kokka, and looks rather fab with this cloud Liberty print lining. I have had so many comments while wearing it that I reckon that I should offer this as a kit - any takers?? Let me know!

Please DO offer this as a kit…if you get enough restock of the fabric, of course! It’s adorable. Enjoyed reading about you in Sew Hip.
