Looks like the girls dresses are only available up to 6 yo. How about sizes 8-10 yo? My girl would love one of those bird dresses.
Best regards,

Hi Bettina and thanks for your message,
Yes, we havea few gaps in our product line that are just begging to be filled! We are currently develpong a skirt for the 9-11 age group which is similar to the birdie skirt, just with a more sophisticated style! And a dress is on the cards too, but a little further off from being completed. Do check back soon, or email us on keepmeposted@clothkits.co.uk with the items that you are interested in written in the subject line, and we will notify you as soon as they are available.

I'd just like to second the OP's request for clothing for older girls. My tall 7 year old would love the dresses, so I'm eagerly awaiting you to fill this gap in the market too

Many thanks for my lovely skirt which arrived this morning… quick query about sizing… is your size 12 a ‘high street’ 12 or a ‘dress pattern’ 12, as the former is a good size larger than the latter, dress patterns still conform to the old 1950’s standard, for some reason….
Cheers!

Just to second the suggestion about clothing sizes for girls. I have a seven year old daughter who loves the hippy chic clothes that her mother loved when she was growing up. Yes I was a clothkits kid. She's just learning to sew and kits sized for the 8yrs up age group would be great to get another generation of kids sewing or at least interested in helping to sew clothes to wear themselves just like their mothers and grandmothers.

I’m going to have to root out some 50’s patterns to check the difference! A size 12 for us is for a waist measurement of 75cm (with room left to breathe!) (Gosh, don’t centimetres look much more scary than inches…?)

Can you also let us know what actual measurements fit your other sizes. I don't want to make my gorgeous-looking birdie skirt up to one size and then find I should have made it a bit bigger! In high street sizes I'm sometimes one size and sometimes another.
Thanks!

Of course! It seems that it is not easy to find on the website,… The direct link to the size chart is here for general guidelines on the skirts… http://www.clothkits.co.uk/pdf….._Chart.pdf
