Hello,
As I child of the late 70's I spent much of my time dressed in clothkits, indeed I still have my Kit doll - would it be wrong to get some more up to date outfits for her?!
My Mum wore a lot of clothkits stuff and I was wondering if you have thought of re-issuing any of your classic patterns from the 70's ? I remember some fab maxi and wrap over skirts in particular. I for one would definatly buy these patterns.
On another subject, are you planning to launch KIt in any other colour ways? It would be great to make some for my neices but would rather wait until they are more representative of themsleves.
Anyway, keep up the good work- I love it, a real blast from the past!

Hi Rachel and many thanks for your message!
We do indeed have other doll colours coming, and next up is a girl dolly with brown skin and black hair and due to many requests we are working on a blonde. Though Ginger still seems to be the fave! We will shortly have for release a male companion, Freddie. Just working on something groovy for him to wear.
Vintage Clothkits are a possibility, it will be demand led!

Thanks for the reply! I look forward to the new Kit dolls, great to see you are expanding the range and making it more reprentative.
I for one would love to get my hands on some of the classic 70's designs……..just a couple! I'm sure there would be a real call for them, partly from a wistful rembering the 70's stance and also from a they are very funky designs stance!
Have I convinced you yet?!
p.s- is there going to be a greater range of womens clothing? 70's or otherwise!

I would love to see more women’s cloths available! Mum did lots of clothkits stuff for us as kids, and now I love making my own clothes, but find pattern laying and cutting a fag, especially on border printed fabrics, like those clothkits is so good at! More for women, please, I can’t have kids, so have no opportunity to use most of your range (and no, I don’t feel like making them up for other people)!!

I'm so pleased to see Clothkits back! I remember Clothkits fondly from my childhood and I've recently started making my own clothes so this is really great.
I don't have kids either so I'd love to see some more women's patterns and I'd absolutely love to get my hands on some vintage style patterns.
Now I'm off to decide which of the new kits to buy in the meantime…

My granddaughter is 6 months old and her mother (my daughter) has very fond memories of Clothkits outfits from pinafore dresses with lovely border prints to fairytale party dresses. Both of us would love to see them back and have the perfect person to dress them in.
