Dear Clothkits,
I'm yet another veteran of the old Clothkits days who is very excited to see you back. I remember my mother making many kits for herself and me and my brother. I particularly remember a pink skirt and waistcoat set which she used to wear to work a lot and very pretty white overshirt with light khaki print of, I think, cow parsley. Later on we were lucky enough to have easy access to one of the shops as we lived in Winchester. Another thing I liked was the adult size woolly tights - nice and warm for the winter and definitely cheaper than buying lots of 20 denier!
However, my comment is that there seem to be a lot of queries about the sizing of your clothes on the forum - would it not make sense to post a clear page giving all these details?
Personally, I'm probably on the edge of the size 20 range these days - do you thinK I could get away with your skirts?
However, this is a relatively small point, I'm still glad to see you back.
Love and kisse
Vanessa.
PS - a couple of other things I've just remembered - I used to attend a music summer school where a couple of the coaches would regularly turn up with a wardrobe consisting of your dresses - sometimes the same ones! Also, I used to love seeing the catalogue and watching the same children growing up - there was one little girl I used to think was particularly sweet - she started as a baby and, the last I remember, was probably about 10.
