Laure is a mix-and-match sewing pattern with multiple dress, collar, and sleeve options. The starting point to this pattern was the classic qipao dress which dates back to 1920s Shanghai. A number of sleeve and collar options have been added so that Laure can be used to make a wide range of dresses, suitable for all four seasons. Go for a shift dress or a dropwaist dress, and combine it with different standing collar options and several sleeve options.
Straightgrain patterns come beautifully presented in a folder containing a full colour printed instruction booklet and a multi-sized paper pattern. Straightgrain patterns are designed to be traced off. This means that you will be able to make multiple sizes of the garment as your child grows. For this you could use tracing paper, baking parchment, thin wrapping paper; or we can supply you with some spot and cross pattern paper.
