A new shoulder bag paper pattern from the House of Sewgirl called 'The Portobello Bag'
This is one fabulously stylish 'Girl About Town' bag that can be easily made in a variety of fabrics.
Make for the autumn/winter season in yummy tweedy wool or maybe some lush corduroy or velvet, with PU leatherette for the base and flap.
Why not use your favourite patterned cotton fabrics, along with PU or denim fabric for the base and flap. You could even recycle some old jeans or even use pre-loved clothing for a more eco-friendly alternative. The Portobello bag has an adjustable strap, a lovely twist-lock fastening on the flap, an inside pocket and a cute little tissue holder pattern to use up your leftover fabric.
The bag pattern includes an easy to follow, illustrated booklet and large format, actual size paper templates, to cut out your fabric pieces.
