A complete dressmaking kit to make the Box Pleat Dress from The Assembly Line in an abstract printed long-thread cotton, featuring a striking oversized flower design in a harmonious blend of green, beige, and black.
The Box pleat dress slips over the head, has deep box pleat at back, wide sleeves that can be rolled-up if you prefer, slit at sides and in-seam pockets. The A-line shape and deep back pleat makes this dress an easy fit, so use bust measurement only for sizing.
The fabric included in this kit is a high-quality, long-thread cotton fabric. The extra long fibres give this cotton a very smooth finish. The fabric is prone to creasing and is quite 'scrunchy' which lends itself really well to the Box Peat Dress. The inspiration for this kit is taken from an amazing maker from the TAL Sewing Community Facebook Group who has made some stunning Box Pleat dresses from Marimekko shower curtains!
