A complete dressmaking kit to make the boxy Athina Top from Tessuti out of Lantana, a signature Liberty fabric with a luxurious mid-weight feel with gorgeous drape. Comfortable and casual the Athina features an extended shoulder and dropped sleeve. It is a simple garment, quick and easy to sew and looks great with skirts, pants & jeans.
The kit includes all the supplies you need to make the shorter version of the top, but the Tessuti pattern also the longer version so you will be able to make that at a future date.
Capel is the name of the print on the Lantana fabric. It was first printed by Liberty Fabrics in 1978, inspired by a vintage style of Liberty floral dating from the 1930s. A small, loosely-drawn design with an all-over repeat, it has been part of the Classics collection since 1993.
