Discover our Liberty Fabrics
Discover our beautiful collection of Liberty Fabrics, celebrated around the world for their timeless elegance, innovative design, and exceptional quality.
Founded in 1875 by Arthur Liberty on London’s Regent Street, Liberty quickly became renowned for luxurious textiles, particularly its iconic silks. By the 1890s, Liberty Fabrics had become synonymous with the finest in avant-garde textile design, influencing artists, makers, and fashion houses across Europe.
Today, Liberty's design legacy lives on through every carefully crafted fabric. Each print begins life in the Liberty design studio in Soho, London, where patterns are hand-drawn or painted by an expert in-house team. These designs are then brought to life at Liberty’s own dedicated printing mill in northern Italy, near Lake Como, an area famed for its rich textile heritage. Here, skilled technicians use both traditional and cutting-edge techniques to produce more than 300 exquisite designs each year.
From delicate florals to bold abstracts and timeless heritage prints, Liberty Fabrics continue to inspire creativity in sewing rooms and studios worldwide. Perfect for dressmaking, quilting, and craft projects, Liberty fabrics are not only beautiful but a joy to work with.
