E-Commerce Fulfilment & Customer Service Assistant
We're looking for our next Clothkitten: a bright, organised, positive and practical person to join our small team in Chichester. After 14 years as part of the Clothkits furniture, Karen is retiring - and we need someone to fill her shoes (and quite a lot of her shelves!). We're a small, independent creative business, so this isn't a job where you'll be a tiny cog in a giant machine. You'll be an important part of the team, and every day is a little different.
It's a genuinely varied, hands-on role. You'll be:
🧵Picking and packing our online orders
🧵 Helping customers in our shop
🧵 Answering customer emails and phone queries
🧵 Receiving and organising stock
🧵 Stock checking - a VERY high level of accuracy expected
🧵Using our computer systems and online shop
🧵 Moving fabric rolls and other stock, including some heavier lifting
🧵 Generally helping to keep the Clothkits wheels turning!
Do you sew? Brilliant. An interest in sewing, dressmaking, quilting or textiles would be a real bonus but not essential.
What matters most to us is that you are: Organised, Accurate, Computer savvy, An exceptional communicator, Positive, Reliable, Friendly, And someone who gets stuck in.
If you're the sort of person who notices that one button is missing from a box when everyone else has already packed it, you might be exactly our sort of person!
THE IMPORTANT BITS
🧵Chichester
🧵Full-time, including some Saturdays
🧵£25,350 starting salary, rising to £26,325 after a successful six-month probation
🧵 Paid one-day trial
And don't worry — Karen won't be disappearing overnight. She'll be around to pass on her considerable Clothkits knowledge before she finally escapes into retirement!
INTERESTED?
Send us your CV along with a few words about yourself, your experience and why you'd like to become our next Clothkitten.
We'd love to hear from you. 🧵
