The Teia (pronounced Tey-A) Dress & Cami is a loose shift that can be worn as a simple dress or pinafore over a blouse. Utilitarian finishes include deep facings, mitred cornered hems and side splits. Topstitching to enhance the style lines.
This pattern comes with optional pockets and striking long stretched out straps for a vampy finish on an otherwise easy wearing dress.
This is a multi-size paper pattern in an envelope, including sizes 6 - 26.
The Teia has varied fit through the body there is 5 cm • 2"ease in the bust and then 12 cm • 4 ¾″ ease over the hip to create an appearance of an elongated top with a long drop through the body with no com-promise on comfort. Side splits to add to ease of movement whilst maintaining a long line.
The Teia features double sloped bust darts for a soft flowing finish. The bust fit is not fully cupped. (i.e. it doesn't fit snug around the bust). FBA and SBA only required for Bust cups A,or E and above. Toiling first is always advisable.
Care has been taken to keep 'V' necks and underarm curve high enough to conceal minimal coverage bras , Teia strap ties can be looped into bra straps and tied in place to increase lingerie coverage.
