Super comfy and extra hard working as both casual or formal wear, the Alice Trousers are inspired by the cosy, comfortable style of joggers and yoga pants, these trousers can be made from cool cotton or light weight lawn for a spring-to-summer addition to your home-sewn wardrobe. If you are wary of making the move from sewing skirts to making trousers this is a great hand-hold as it's a quick and easy make for beginners upwards, there are no tricky closures involved in this pattern either.
The trousers feature deep cutaway pockets and an elasticated waist for ease of movement. The pattern also features elasticated ankle cuffs, but they can always be made with a simple hem for a slightly more formal look.
Suggested Fabrics: Cotton, cotton lawn, viscose, chambray, silk, cotton sateen, crepe, double gauze, poplin.
