A stunning V- neck button down mid calf length dress with a gathered skirt section, fold back sleeves, curved side hem feature, two patch pockets and optional tie belt. This stylish, yet practical dress, is great to wear everyday in Summer, but also looks great with a teeshirt underneath for colder days.
The style is fairly loose fitting and comfortable to wear, and can be worn with or without the tie belt or with a nice leather belt.
Suggested Fabrics:
This is a dress that you will want to make again and again, it looks great made up in a patterned cotton fabric or just as lovely in simple understated plain linen or linen mix fabrics or even a soft med/lightweight denim.
You can easily make Betty without buttons on the skirt section (shown in the patterned fabric dress) by cutting two back skirt pieces, full step by step instructions can be found on Sewgirlblog.com/bettydress
The pattern comes in sizes 8-22 with sturdy paper templates and an easy to follow instructions booklet.
Suitable for medium weight cottons, linen and linen mix fabrics.
