The Clueless Skirt is a quick and satisfying wrap skirt with a clean, simple shape and just enough detail to make it interesting. It uses relatively little fabric too, making it a lovely project for smaller lengths of something special.
The wrap-around design fastens neatly with two concealed snap buttons, which can be adjusted to give you a comfortable fit at the waist. Optional topstitching adds a crisp finish and is a great way to highlight the simple lines of the skirt.
Choose a fabric with a little structure to make the most of the shape. Cotton canvas, jacquard and corduroy will give a more defined silhouette, while linen, lightweight denim or fine wool will create a slightly softer look.
Suggested Fabrics: Woven fabrics such as cotton canvas, jacquard, corduroy, fine wool, linen and lightweight denim.
