A classic woven stripe with a warm, contemporary colour palette, this cotton double gauze features alternating cognac brown and deep navy stripes. The slightly irregular, textured appearance of the weave gives the stripes a relaxed, natural finish, while the contrast between the two colours creates a simple but effective design.
Made from 100% cotton, this double gauze has a soft, breathable feel and a naturally crinkled texture. Two fine layers of gauze are lightly joined together, giving the fabric a little more body while retaining its lightweight feel and soft drape. At 120gsm, it's ideal for relaxed shirts, blouses, summer dresses, loose-fitting trousers, gathered skirts and comfortable children's clothing.
The vertical stripes work particularly well with simple, loose-fitting patterns and can also be used creatively by changing their direction on pockets, cuffs or garment panels.

Care Instructions: We recommend pre-washing before sewing, as cotton double gauze may shrink. Machine wash on a gentle cycle at 30°C with similar colours. Do not bleach. Iron if required, although leaving the natural crinkled texture is part of its appeal.

If you change your mind about an item or have received the incorrect item then we offer a very straightforward return policy. You may return unwanted goods up to 28 days after purchase for exchange, a store credit, or a refund.
Returned merchandise must be in the condition sold with original packaging and any tags intact. Goods must be unused, unopened, in perfect condition and remain in a re-saleable condition. Non-returnable items include kits once they have been cut, cut lengths of fabric, ribbons or trim, samples, sale items, and ex-demonstration items.
