The Easy T-Shirt by Wardrobe by Me is a wonderfully versatile pattern for creating relaxed, everyday tops in both jersey and woven fabrics. With its comfortable, loose-fitting shape, dropped dolman shoulders and a choice of necklines, sleeves and lengths, it's a useful wardrobe staple you'll want to make again and again.
Views A and B are designed for jersey fabrics, with a simple neckband and a choice of short or long sleeves. View A has a classic crew neckline and straight hem, while View B features a wider, scooped neckline and softly curved hem. Both have an easy, relaxed silhouette that works beautifully with jeans, skirts and casual trousers.
View C offers a lovely alternative for lightweight woven fabrics, with a scooped neckline finished neatly with facings, short dolman sleeves and a curved hem. It's a great option for cotton lawn, linen or viscose, creating a simple, unfussy top with a little more structure.
Choose a soft cotton jersey for an everyday T-shirt, a fluid viscose jersey for extra drape, or experiment with lightweight woven fabrics for View C. With straightforward construction and plenty of options to play with, this is a satisfying project for confident beginners and a brilliant pattern for making several different tops from one design.
Pattern Sizes: 2XS–4XL
Suggested Fabrics: Lightweight jersey fabrics for Views A and B, such as cotton jersey or viscose jersey. Lightweight woven fabrics for View C, such as cotton lawn, linen or viscose.
Fabric Requirements – 150cm Wide Jersey (Views A and B):
- Sizes 2XS–XL, short sleeves: 0.75m
- Sizes 2XL–4XL, short sleeves: 1m
- Sizes 2XS–XL, long sleeves: 1.3m
- Sizes 2XL–4XL, long sleeves: 1.55m
Fabric Requirements – 140cm Wide Woven Fabric (View C):
- Sizes 2XS–XL: 0.95m
- Sizes 2XL–4XL: 1.5m
You will also need:
- Matching sewing thread
- Optional: 10cm ribbing for the jersey neckline
- View C: 10cm fusible interfacing (90cm wide) for sizes 2XS–XL, or 15cm for sizes 2XL–4XL

Returns
If you change your mind about an item or have received the incorrect item then we offer a very straightforward return policy. You may return unwanted goods up to 28 days after purchase for exchange, a store credit, or a refund.
Returned merchandise must be in the condition sold with original packaging and any tags intact. Goods must be unused, unopened, in perfect condition and remain in a re-saleable condition. Non-returnable items include kits once they have been cut, cut lengths of fabric, ribbons or trim, samples, sale items, and ex-demonstration items.
