The Alma Blouse Sewing Pattern from Cha' Coud is a pretty, relaxed blouse with softly gathered details and a lovely feminine shape. With its flowing silhouette, distinctive V-shaped yoke and gently puffed sleeves, it's a versatile design that works beautifully in a variety of fabrics.
Alma features a loose-fitting bodice with a V-shaped yoke at both the front and back. Soft gathers fall from the yoke to create gentle volume, while the long sleeves are gathered at the shoulders and finished with elasticated cuffs for a lovely blouson effect. The centre front fastens with delicate button loops and buttons, adding a charming finishing detail.
Choose a crisp cotton poplin for a fresh, structured look, or a softly draping viscose or crepe for a more fluid silhouette. Linen and broderie anglaise would also make beautiful versions, giving the blouse a completely different character depending on the fabric.
