Part of the enchanting Miffy x Liberty Picture Book Collection, Prairie Day brings together Liberty’s celebrated floral design heritage with one of the world’s most recognisable illustrated characters.
Hand-drawn in the Liberty design studio, Prairie Day takes inspiration from the iconic Liberty classic Poppy & Daisy. Daisies, forget-me-nots and lily of the valley are scattered across the fabric, with Miffy appearing amongst the flowers in her earliest form, taken from Dick Bruna’s original 1963 story. Crisp floral shapes and Miffy’s distinctive graphic linework combine to create a wonderfully fresh, playful meadow design.
Launching in 2026, the Miffy x Liberty collection celebrates the quietly charming bunny created by writer, illustrator and designer Dick Bruna. Inspired by the wonderful world of his picture books, the Liberty design studio has reimagined original illustrations as a curated series of prints, weaving together character, pattern and narrative.
Printed on Liberty Fabrics' iconic Tana Lawn® cotton, this beautifully fine and lightweight fabric has a smooth, silky handle and wonderful drape. Ideal for dresses, blouses, shirts, skirts and children's clothing, as well as special sewing projects and accessories.
Please note: this Miffy Tana Lawn® is 110cm wide, which is narrower than the regular Liberty Tana Lawn® width usually sold in the UK. Please take this into account when calculating your fabric requirements.

If you change your mind about an item or have received the incorrect item then we offer a very straightforward return policy. You may return unwanted goods up to 28 days after purchase for exchange, a store credit, or a refund.
Returned merchandise must be in the condition sold with original packaging and any tags intact. Goods must be unused, unopened, in perfect condition and remain in a re-saleable condition. Non-returnable items include kits once they have been cut, cut lengths of fabric, ribbons or trim, samples, sale items, and ex-demonstration items.
