Come and spend a relaxed half day making these fabulous fairy lights with Jane. You’ll choose from a beautiful selection of Liberty prints to create something truly your own. By the end of the session, you’ll have a charming garland of Liberty loveliness ready to brighten up your home, perfect for adding a little colour and joy to any corner.
Is this class for me? Ideal for complete beginners, or for those wanting to try something new.
Materials: Included. You’ll be able to choose from a lovely selection of Liberty fabrics and a variety of trims on the day, or feel free to bring along your own favourites if you have something special in mind.
About your Teacher: The workshop is taught by Jane Warren, who runs The Lampshade Loft and has over 12 years’ experience teaching lampshade making in a variety of styles. Her book The Complete Guide to Making Lampshades (published in 2024) is available to buy from Clothkits, both in store and online.
Course Duration: Half day
Course Date: Saturday 11th July 2026 1.30pm - 4.30pm
Venue: Clothkits, 16 The Hornet, Chichester PO19 7JG. The workshop is held in our modern and vibrant studio on the ground floor behind our shop. We are located in central Chichester, about a 10 minute walk from the train and bus station. The closest car park is The Cattle Market.

Returns
If you change your mind about an item or have received the incorrect item then we offer a very straightforward return policy. You may return unwanted goods up to 28 days after purchase for exchange, a store credit, or a refund.
Returned merchandise must be in the condition sold with original packaging and any tags intact. Goods must be unused, unopened, in perfect condition and remain in a re-saleable condition. Non-returnable items include kits once they have been cut, cut lengths of fabric, ribbons or trim, samples, sale items, and ex-demonstration items.
