This soft peach cotton double gauze features a subtle woven stripe with a decorative floral embroidered border in deep burgundy. The alternating peach and muted terracotta stripes give the fabric a warm, understated look, while the embroidered edge features rows of small flowers and geometric motifs. The contrast between the delicate stripes and darker embroidery creates an attractive finish that's easy to incorporate into dressmaking projects.
Woven from 100% cotton, this lightweight double gauze has a soft, slightly crinkled texture and a breathable, comfortable feel. Its two fine layers are lightly joined together, creating a fabric with a gentle drape that's ideal for relaxed garments. A good choice for blouses, summer dresses, loose-fitting tops, gathered skirts and children's clothing, particularly styles with simple shapes and minimal tailoring.
The embroidered border runs along one selvedge and can be used as a ready-made decorative feature on hems, sleeves or garment panels. It would look especially effective along the bottom of a loose summer blouse or the hem of a gathered dress. When planning your project, allow for the direction of the stripes and the placement of the embroidered border.

Care Instructions: We recommend pre-washing before sewing, as cotton double gauze may shrink. Machine wash on a gentle cycle at 30°C with similar colours. Do not bleach. Cool iron if required, taking care around the embroidery.

If you change your mind about an item or have received the incorrect item then we offer a very straightforward return policy. You may return unwanted goods up to 28 days after purchase for exchange, a store credit, or a refund.
