Sadie is a timeless bias-cut slip dress with a beautifully simple shape that makes it wonderfully versatile. Wear it on its own as an effortless summer dress, layer it beneath something sheer, or make it as an elegant nightdress.
The bias cut allows the fabric to fall softly around the body, while a shaped neckline, delicate spaghetti straps and optional back darts keep the silhouette beautifully clean. For a more relaxed look, layer Sadie over a fitted T-shirt or add a cardigan or jacket when the weather cools.
Choose something fluid such as silk satin, crêpe de chine or viscose to really make the most of the bias cut, or try cotton lawn or lightweight linen for a more casual everyday version.
