The Barka Dog Coat, Merchant & Mills Sewing Pattern

A simple dog coat for your furry friend. Make it bagged out with lining or lined with bound edges. 10% of sales for this pattern will be going to Dogs Trust UK. 

Suggested Fabrics: Oilskin, dry oilskin, cotton jacquard, mid - heavy cotton canvas or twill, mid weight denim or corduroy. For the lining, we would suggest barrier lining or a simple stable cotton. Consider if you will want to put this dog coat in the washing machine when choosing cloth - for example, oilskin cannot be washed - you would let the dirt dry and then brush it off.
