Inspired by working women, with a dash of the Twenties. The Factory Dress slips over the head, features pockets and ready-rolled up sleeves. The Factory dress is ‘easy fit’ so use the bust measurement only for sizing. You also have the option of making it into a top with a small slit at the front.
Suggested Fabrics:
Ideal made in linen, but you could also use lightweight corduroy and wools, 4 – 8oz denim, cotton poplins, hemp/cotton blends, Tencel and Tencel/linen blends and 4-6oz sanded cotton twills.
Fabric Requirements:
- Matching thread
- 0.35M of lightweight interfacing for the collar and facing.
Inner pockets can be made in self or lining.
