Description
The Mary White is a relaxed dress or top with a wonderfully easy shape and distinctive sailor-inspired detailing. Front and back pleats create plenty of room through the body, while the statement sailor collar gives the design its character.
Choose between a loose-fitting top or an easy dress with practical in-seam side pockets. Both versions feature a breast pocket, and the finished look can change considerably depending on your choice of fabric – go crisp and structured for a more sculptural silhouette, or choose something softer for a relaxed, fluid feel.
All seam allowances are 1.5cm unless otherwise stated.
Suggested Fabrics:
Medium-weight woven fabrics such as cotton sanded twill, 6–9oz denim, linen, corduroy, Tencel and Tencel/linen blends. More structured fabrics will emphasise the shape of the pleats and give the garment a more sculptural look.
If using a heavier fabric, consider using a lighter-weight fabric for the under collar and front facings to reduce bulk.

If you change your mind about an item or have received the incorrect item then we offer a very straightforward return policy. You may return unwanted goods up to 28 days after purchase for exchange, a store credit, or a refund.
Returned merchandise must be in the condition sold with original packaging and any tags intact. Goods must be unused, unopened, in perfect condition and remain in a re-saleable condition.
