If you're making a new pattern it is always advisable to make a toile. A toile is a practise run and a chance to make tweaks to get the fit just right on cheap material. Calico is great because it survives the unpicking, and you can scribble over it in pencil and it just doesn't matter!
Use the spot and cross pattern paper to trace off your pattern first, if you are in-between sizes this is a great way to grade the pattern without destroying the original paper pattern.
The pack contains:
- 2m of unbleached cotton calico
- 2m of spot and cross paper, 91cm wide.
