The Tulip Top by Wardrobe by Me is a lovely, easy-to-wear blouse with a softly gathered neckline, relaxed shape and beautifully curved hem. Simple but full of thoughtful details, it's the sort of top that works just as well with jeans and casual trousers as it does tucked into a favourite skirt.
Gentle gathers at the front neckline create soft volume beneath a neat, narrow collar, while dropped shoulders and short, cuffed sleeves give Tulip its relaxed silhouette. A small opening at the centre back fastens with a single button or snap, providing a pretty finishing detail.
Designed for lightweight woven fabrics, Tulip looks particularly lovely in linen, cotton lawn, voile or a soft viscose. Choose something with a little structure for a crisp, fresh look, or a more fluid fabric for gentle drape and movement. It's a satisfying project for adventurous beginners, with a helpful Tulip Top sew-along video to guide you through the making process.
Pattern Sizes: 30–54 (equivalent to US sizes 0–24)
Suggested Fabrics: Lightweight woven fabrics such as linen, cotton lawn, cotton voile and viscose. The pattern is designed with ease for woven fabrics. If using jersey, consider sizing down by one size.
Fabric Requirements – 140cm Wide:
- Sizes 30–40: 1m
- Sizes 42–46: 1.4m
- Sizes 48–54: 1.7m
You will also need:
- 10cm fusible interfacing (90cm wide)
- One button or snap, 8–10mm
- Matching sewing thread

If you change your mind about an item or have received the incorrect item then we offer a very straightforward return policy. You may return unwanted goods up to 28 days after purchase for exchange, a store credit, or a refund.
Returned merchandise must be in the condition sold with original packaging and any tags intact. Goods must be unused, unopened, in perfect condition and remain in a re-saleable condition.
