A small but perfectly formed sewing project, this versatile pattern includes two handy sizes – a Wristlet and a Pouch. Both are satisfying to sew, packed with clever little details and brilliant for using up favourite fat quarters and smaller pieces of fabric.
The Wristlet is just the right size for carrying your everyday essentials, with interior card slots, pockets and a zipped pocket to keep everything organised. Add the wrist strap and it’s perfect for popping out and about, or use it as a wallet inside a larger bag.
The smaller Pouch makes a lovely little purse or organiser, with an interior pocket and card slot. Both versions make brilliant handmade gifts – although you may find them rather difficult to give away once you've made one!

Finished Measurements:
- Wristlet: approximately 22.2cm wide x 2.5cm deep x 12.9cm tall
- Pouch: approximately 14cm wide x 2.5cm deep x 10.2cm tall
Suggested Fabrics:
For the exterior, choose canvas (7–9oz), medium weight cotton or a cotton/linen blend. Quilting cotton works well for the lining.
Dry oilskin or cork can also be used for the exterior. If using either of these, do not interface the exterior fabric pieces and omit the medium weight fusible interfacing for the Wristlet. See the pattern instructions for further cutting information.
Fabric Requirements:
Requirements are based on 110cm wide fabric. One Fat Quarter (FQ) measures approximately 45.7 x 55.9cm.

You Will Also Need:
- Polyester thread
- Wristlet: 30.5cm handbag zipper for the main closure
- Pouch: 20.3cm handbag zipper for the main closure
- Wristlet: 10.2cm interior zipper
- Wristlet: 13mm D-ring and 13mm swivel snap for the wrist strap
- Water-soluble pen or tailor's chalk
- Cutting mat, ruler and rotary cutter
- Size 14 or 16 denim or Microtex needle
- Pinking shears
- Optional: 13mm x 45.7cm leather for the Wristlet strap
- Optional: one 8mm rivet and corresponding setting tool when making a leather wrist strap
Handbag zippers are approximately 3.2cm wide. Zipper-by-the-yard or continuous zipper tape can be substituted. Metal zippers are not recommended for the main closure.
Ability: Intermediate – some knowledge of zipper pouch construction is helpful, along with confidence in topstitching and working with zips.

Returns
If you change your mind about an item or have received the incorrect item then we offer a very straightforward return policy. You may return unwanted goods up to 28 days after purchase for exchange, a store credit, or a refund.
Returned merchandise must be in the condition sold with original packaging and any tags intact. Goods must be unused, unopened, in perfect condition and remain in a re-saleable condition. Non-returnable items include kits once they have been cut, cut lengths of fabric, ribbons or trim, samples, sale items, and ex-demonstration items.
