The A-line Midi Skirt is an easy-to-sew wardrobe staple with a simple, modern shape. Designed with a comfortable elasticated waist and practical slanted side pockets, it can be made in several different ways for a completely different look each time.
Choose from a regular waistband or a paper bag waistband with belt loops and a matching tie belt. There are also three hem finishes to choose from: a classic straight hem, a softly rounded hem or an elasticated hem for a more gathered silhouette.
The paper pattern comes carefully packaged in an envelope with step-by-step sewing instructions.
Suggested Fabrics: Light to medium weight woven fabrics such as cotton poplin, lightweight denim, wool, faux leather and cotton twill.

You will also need:
- Matching thread.
- Fusible interfacing.
- Regular waistband: 50mm wide elastic – XS 70cm / S 80cm / M 90cm / L 100cm / XL 110cm / 2XL 120cm / 3XL 130cm.
- Paper bag waistband: 30mm wide elastic – XS 70cm / S 80cm / M 90cm / L 100cm / XL 110cm / 2XL 120cm / 3XL 130cm.
- Elasticated hem: 50mm wide elastic – XS 100cm / S 110cm / M 120cm / L 130cm / XL 140cm / 2XL 150cm / 3XL 160cm.
Make more with this pattern: Try it in faux leather for a completely different look, lengthen it into a maxi or shorten it into a mini. Contrast topstitching is another lovely way to highlight the simple lines, while the paper bag version can be worn with the matching tie belt or swapped for a favourite belt of your own.

If you change your mind about an item or have received the incorrect item then we offer a very straightforward return policy. You may return unwanted goods up to 28 days after purchase for exchange, a store credit, or a refund.
