The Alessandra Trousers are a timeless tailored style with a flattering high waist and gently tapered leg. Smart enough for work but easy to dress down too, they have a polished shape that works just as well with a blouse and jacket as it does with a simple knit or T-shirt.
Thoughtful trouser-making details include a flat front waistband, practical side pockets, a traditional front fly fastening and carefully positioned back darts for a smooth, comfortable fit. Alessandra works particularly well in medium-weight woven fabrics with enough structure to hold the shape while still having a little drape. Try linen or cotton twill for everyday wear, Tencel for a softer finish, or lightweight wool and wool crepe for something a little smarter.
Ciao Patterns are designed with clarity in mind. Each size is colour coded for easy tracing, while different line styles ensure the sizes remain easy to distinguish when printed in black and white.

Returns
If you change your mind about an item or have received the incorrect item then we offer a very straightforward return policy. You may return unwanted goods up to 28 days after purchase for exchange, a store credit, or a refund.
Returned merchandise must be in the condition sold with original packaging and any tags intact. Goods must be unused, unopened, in perfect condition and remain in a re-saleable condition. Non-returnable items include kits once they have been cut, cut lengths of fabric, ribbons or trim, samples, sale items, and ex-demonstration items.
