    Description

The Amsterdam Shirt is one of those wonderfully versatile patterns that can be reinvented again and again. With its relaxed straight cut and extensive range of design options, it can be sewn as anything from a crisp everyday shirt to a romantic blouse or a statement piece with vintage-inspired details.

Choose between a short or long bodice length, short sleeves or full-length sleeves with cuffs and a traditional sleeve placket. The real joy of Amsterdam lies in its collar options, with seven different styles included: knotted, round, sailor, officer, classic shirt, Victorian and ruffled. Whether your style is clean and contemporary or full of feminine details, this pattern offers endless possibilities for creating a blouse that's uniquely yours.

Packed with professional shirtmaking techniques, Amsterdam is a rewarding project for experienced sewists looking to expand their skills and create a beautifully finished garment.

    Size Range:

For warmer weather: poplin, cotton voile, batiste, chambray, linen, double gauze, broderie anglaise, viscose, Tencel, seersucker or gingham.
For cooler seasons: flannel, cotton twill, lightweight denim, corduroy or fine gabardine.

    You will also need:

    • Woven fusible interfacing (such as Vlieseline G700)
