    Description

    Fancy trying something a little different? Join Clair for a fun and colourful workshop creating your own Mexican-inspired embossed tin decorations. This wonderfully creative craft is easy to get to grips with and perfect for adding a splash of colour and a little handmade charm to your home.

    During the workshop, Clair will show you how to emboss and decorate the tin using simple step-by-step templates and techniques. You’ll experiment with pattern, texture and colour to create 2–3 beautiful tin decorations to take home.

    No previous experience is needed and all the materials are provided – simply come along and enjoy a couple of hours of relaxed, creative making.

    Is this class for you?
    Absolutely! This workshop is suitable for complete beginners and anyone who fancies trying a colourful new craft.

    About your Teacher:
    Clair has many years of experience as a designer and maker. She previously worked as a milliner for Philip Treacy, making hats for couture fashion catwalk shows in Paris, London and New York. Clair has also worked as a senior footwear and accessories designer at Irregular Choice.

    Course Duration:
    Two hours

    When:
    Saturday 31st October 2026, 10am–12pm

    Venue:
    The workshop is held in our modern and vibrant studio at the Clothkits shop in central Chichester. We are around a 10-minute walk from the train and bus stations, and the closest car park is The Cattle Market.

    Ability: Beginner – no previous experience needed.

    If you change your mind about an item or have received the incorrect item then we offer a very straightforward return policy.  You may return unwanted goods up to 28 days after purchase for exchange, a store credit, or a refund.

    Returned merchandise must be in the condition sold with original packaging and any tags intact. Goods must be unused, unopened, in perfect condition and remain in a re-saleable condition. Non-returnable items include kits once they have been cut, cut lengths of fabric, ribbons or trim, samples, sale items, and ex-demonstration items.
