The design features a snowy Christmas house surrounded by 24 colourful numbered pockets, each decorated with cheerful festive illustrations including gingerbread, stockings, stars, robins, snowmen and Christmas decorations. Simply tuck a little treat, note or surprise into each pocket and enjoy the countdown throughout December.
Everything has been beautifully coordinated by Thread & Ink Studio, with bold reds, greens, pinks, blues and golds giving the finished calendar a wonderfully contemporary feel while still being unmistakably Christmassy. The kit includes coordinating fabrics for the pockets, borders, backing and hanging loops, along with wadding to give the calendar a lovely quilted finish.
A really satisfying seasonal sewing project and a wonderful alternative to a disposable advent calendar - once made, it can become part of your family's Christmas traditions for many years to come.
