Meet Rose Ceres, a wonderfully whimsical gardening mouse with flower-filled ears and a very busy day ahead of her. Dressed in her quilted pinny, she comes complete with her garden kitty gnome friend, watering can and a little trug filled with tools. There’s even an illustrated concertina garden to stand behind her, creating a charming little scene once she’s finished.
When made up, Rose Ceres stands approximately 35 cm tall and is printed on organic cotton for a beautifully vintage feel. Her arms and legs are jointed with buttons, giving her gentle movement and plenty of character. Please note, she is not suitable for small children and is intended as a decorative piece rather than a toy.
Her name is rather fitting too - Ceres was the Roman goddess of agriculture, grain and harvest, while Rose needs very little explanation for this flower-eared little gardener! Full of colourful details and lovely little extras, there’s plenty to discover as you stitch her together.
A wonderful gift for keen sewists, gardeners or anyone with a soft spot for characterful craft projects, Rose Ceres can be sewn by hand or machine and comes with full step-by-step instructions to guide you through the process.
