The Geranium Dress is a sweet and incredibly versatile children's dress pattern, with two lovely views and plenty of possibilities for mixing and matching. Choose from a gathered skirt in dress or top length, with optional flutter sleeves, notched neckline and patch pockets, or a pleated skirt with side-seam pockets. With so many combinations, it's one of those patterns you'll happily make again and again.
A long-time Clothkits favourite, the Geranium looks particularly gorgeous made up in Liberty Tana Lawn, but works beautifully in all sorts of woven fabrics.
Sizing: 0–12 years. This updated pattern now includes the full size range in one envelope. There is also limited stock remaining of the separate 6–12 years Geranium Dress pattern.
Suggested Fabrics: Light to medium-weight woven cotton and cotton blends, including quilting cotton, chambray, voile, double gauze, linen and linen blends. Liberty Tana Lawn is a particularly lovely choice.

Pattern Options
View A: Flutter sleeves with a gathered skirt in dress or top length, plus an optional notched neckline and patch pockets.
View B: Faux cap sleeves with a pleated skirt in dress or top length, side-seam pockets for sizes 12–18 months and above, and an optional cut-out neckline.
Recommended Fabrics: Light to medium-weight woven cotton and cotton blend fabrics such as lawn, chambray, quilting cotton and double gauze; linen and linen blends.

- Less than 30cm lightweight fusible interfacing
- Coordinating thread
Fabric estimates include a generous allowance for spacing between pattern pieces and fabric shrinkage. Extra fabric may be required for directional prints, nap, border prints or pattern matching. Always prewash and dry your fabric before cutting.

If you change your mind about an item or have received the incorrect item then we offer a very straightforward return policy. You may return unwanted goods up to 28 days after purchase for exchange, a store credit, or a refund.
Returned merchandise must be in the condition sold with original packaging and any tags intact. Goods must be unused, unopened, in perfect condition and remain in a re-saleable condition.
