A lovely easy-to-wear dress for little ones, with a loose, comfortable shape and a softly gathered skirt. Choose from long sleeves, short sleeves or a sleeveless version, making Helsinki a wonderfully versatile pattern for wearing throughout the year.
The dress has a neat button opening at the back and the neckline is finished with bias binding, with matching bias around the armholes on the sleeveless version. Optional front pockets add a sweet finishing touch and are perfect for little treasures.
Make the dress all in one fabric or have a little fun mixing things up, using one fabric for the bodice and another for the gathered skirt. Helsinki works beautifully in everything from soft double gauze and linen to lightweight denim, baby corduroy or French terry. You can also use jersey or Ponte Roma for a softer, stretchier version.
Sizes: 6, 12, 18 and 24 months, 3 and 4 years.
