    Hathor is a wonderfully versatile sleeveless gilet pattern with an impressive 18 different versions to choose from. Mix and match three neckline options, three pocket styles and two different fastenings to create just the version you fancy.

    Choose from a simple rounded neckline, stand-up collar or cosy hood, then add welt pockets, patch pockets or leave them off altogether. Finish with either press studs or a zip. Fully lined for a lovely neat finish, Hathor is a brilliant layering piece that can take you right through the seasons.

    Fabric choice can completely transform the look. Try quilted fabric or boiled wool for something warm and practical, corduroy or denim for everyday wear, or waxed cotton for a more outdoorsy feel.

    Important to Know: I AM Patterns are designed to be traced off, with some of the pattern pieces overlapping on the printed sheet. You will need to trace your chosen size onto paper before cutting. This means you can keep the original pattern intact, make multiple sizes and easily make adjustments as you trace. You can use tracing paper, baking parchment or thin wrapping paper, or take a look at our spot and cross pattern paper.

    Suggested Fabrics:

    For the outer: quilted fabric, faux fur, corduroy, needlecord, boiled wool, denim, gabardine, medium to heavyweight cotton twill or waxed cotton.

    For the lining: light to medium weight woven fabrics such as cotton poplin, Tencel, Cupro or satin.

    Versions:

    • A – rounded neckline with press studs
    • B – rounded neckline with zip
    • C – stand-up collar with press studs
    • D – stand-up collar with zip
    • E – hood with press studs
    • F – hood with zip
