Rê is a classic duffle coat packed with all the traditional details that make this style such an enduring favourite. Inspired by the original Montgomery duffle, it features toggle fastenings, a three-piece hood with button tab, shoulder yoke and roomy patch pockets with flaps.
The straight cut creates a clean silhouette with subtle shaping, while two-piece sleeves and tightening tabs add a beautifully considered finish. Choose between a shorter hip-length coat or the longer mid-thigh version. A satisfying project with plenty of lovely tailoring details, Rê is a coat designed to be made well, worn often and kept for years.
Important to Know:
I AM Patterns are designed to be traced off, with some pattern pieces overlapping on the sheet. This means you can keep the original pattern intact, make different sizes and easily make adjustments as you trace. You can use tracing paper, baking parchment or thin wrapping paper, or try our spot and cross pattern paper.

Outer: Wool coating such as duffle, boiled wool, wool gabardine, Melton, tweed or bouclé.
Lining: Lightweight lining fabrics such as duchess satin, cupro, habotai or polyester lining.
