La Jupe – quite simply, The Skirt – is an easy-to-wear pattern from Atelier Brunette designed with comfort and freedom of movement in mind. With two different versions to choose from, it’s a lovely wardrobe staple that can be made to suit your style, your fabric and the season.
Both versions feature a beautifully finished waistband with bias binding on the inside for a neat, considered finish. Version A has a button-through front, while Version B offers a cleaner front with an invisible zip fastening. Whichever you choose, the result is a comfortable and versatile skirt that’s easy to dress up or down.
Important to Know: Atelier Brunette patterns are designed to be traced off. The pattern pieces overlap, so you will need to trace your chosen size before cutting. This allows you to preserve all the sizes on the original pattern and make adjustments as you trace. You can use tracing paper, baking parchment or thin wrapping paper, or try our spot and cross pattern paper.
The pattern includes printed instructions in both French and English. You can also scan the QR code inside the pattern envelope with your smartphone to download the instruction booklet.

Recommended Fabrics:
Lightweight to medium-weight woven fabrics. Take a look at the beautiful Atelier Brunette fabrics for plenty of inspiration.

Returns
If you change your mind about an item or have received the incorrect item then we offer a very straightforward return policy. You may return unwanted goods up to 28 days after purchase for exchange, a store credit, or a refund.
Returned merchandise must be in the condition sold with original packaging and any tags intact. Goods must be unused, unopened, in perfect condition and remain in a re-saleable condition. Non-returnable items include kits once they have been cut, cut lengths of fabric, ribbons or trim, samples, sale items, and ex-demonstration items.
