This easy-going dress and blouse pattern is full of lovely details, with a loose, floaty shape that's perfect for warm-weather sewing. Ruffled panels create plenty of movement, while bust darts and an elasticated back give the bodice a comfortable, gently shaped fit.
Choose between a long, flowing dress or a relaxed blouse, then finish the neckline with shoulder straps that fasten at the back or tie behind the neck. The upper bodice is lined for a neat finish, and the dress also has the option to add handy pockets.
There is plenty of scope to make this pattern your own too. Add piping between the panels for a little extra definition, play with contrasting fabrics, or keep things beautifully simple in a soft cotton or linen. An easy and satisfying project with a wonderfully relaxed finished look.
Finished Length: The dress measures approximately 125cm from shoulder to hem, or up to 130cm depending on the shoulder strap length. The blouse measures approximately 65cm, or up to 70cm depending on the shoulder strap length.
Suggested Fabrics: Cotton, cambric, poplin, batiste, lightweight twill, double gauze, lightweight denim, plumetis, viscose, jacquard or jersey.
