Romantic and wonderfully painterly, this beautiful botanical design takes inspiration from Pre-Raphaelite garden paintings and the timeless charm of a traditional rose garden. Voluminous peonies take centre stage, their soft, silken petals unfolding in delicate layers amongst abundant foliage.
Painted in the Liberty design studio using gouache and watercolour, the artwork has a lovely depth of colour and gentle sense of movement. A subtle linen-effect texture across the background adds softness and character while allowing the magnificent blooms to really shine. Part of the Story Garden chapter, the design celebrates the stories, beauty and sense of sanctuary found within cultivated gardens.
Printed on Liberty’s iconic Tana Lawn™ cotton, a beautifully soft and lightweight fabric with a silky feel and wonderful drape. Perfect for dressmaking, it works particularly well for dresses, blouses, shirts, skirts and other lightweight garments.

If you change your mind about an item or have received the incorrect item then we offer a very straightforward return policy. You may return unwanted goods up to 28 days after purchase for exchange, a store credit, or a refund.
Returned merchandise must be in the condition sold with original packaging and any tags intact. Goods must be unused, unopened, in perfect condition and remain in a re-saleable condition.
