Using gorgeous Liberty Tana Lawn fabrics, you'll make a stylish zipped pouch featuring a clear vinyl window and beautifully bound edges. Perfect for storing sewing notions, craft supplies, travel essentials or treasured keepsakes, this practical project is packed with techniques that can be applied to many future quilting and sewing projects.
Liberty Fabrics Tana Lawn is renowned for its exceptional quality, silky-soft handle and beautiful prints, making it a joy to sew with. Tracy is a long-time Liberty devotee and is well known within the sewing community for her stunning Liberty creations. Throughout the day, she'll share her expertise, tips and enthusiasm as she guides you through the construction of your pouch.

Is this class for you?
This workshop is suitable for beginner and intermediate sewists. You should be comfortable using a sewing machine, but no previous quilting experience is required.
Materials:
All materials will be provided, including a beautiful selection of Liberty Tana Lawn fabrics for you to choose from on the day.
If you would prefer to work with a specific Liberty print or treasured fabric from your own stash, you are very welcome to bring it along. Should you wish to purchase fabric in advance, workshop participants receive a 10% discount on fabrics purchased for use in the class.
About your Teacher: Tracy Aplin, better known to many sewists as Sewing Tracy (@sewing_tracy), brings a wealth of sewing knowledge and experience to the classroom. After a career as a pattern cutter and grader within the fashion industry, she discovered a passion for patchwork and quilting and has since become an accomplished quilter, teacher and exhibitor. Tracy is renowned within the sewing community for her beautiful Liberty creations and inspiring quilting projects, earning a loyal following both in person and online. She has exhibited and taught at the Festival of Quilts for many years, sharing her expertise with quilters and sewists of all abilities.

Venue: The workshop is held in our modern and vibrant studio at the Clothkits shop. We are located in central Chichester, about a 10 minute walk from the train and bus station. The closest car park is The Cattle Market.

If you change your mind about an item or have received the incorrect item then we offer a very straightforward return policy. You may return unwanted goods up to 28 days after purchase for exchange, a store credit, or a refund.
Returned merchandise must be in the condition sold with original packaging and any tags intact. Goods must be unused, unopened, in perfect condition and remain in a re-saleable condition. Non-returnable items include kits once they have been cut, cut lengths of fabric, ribbons or trim, samples, sale items, and ex-demonstration items.
