The Maria Skirt is a wonderfully versatile design with a timeless shape and plenty of scope to make it your own. The classic pleats can be stitched down for a neater, more structured silhouette or left free for a fuller, softer look with lovely movement.
Practical details include two side set-in pockets and a side zip for a smooth, flattering fit at the waist. With three length options to choose from, Maria can be made as an easy everyday skirt, a smart midi or an elegant full-length version. Linen and cotton are perfect for relaxed dressing, while lightweight denim gives it a more casual feel and silk or viscose creates something softer and more fluid.
Ciao Patterns are designed with clarity in mind. Each size is colour coded for easy tracing, while different line styles ensure the sizes remain easy to distinguish when printed in black and white.
