A lightweight, natural cotton lawn with a soft, fine weave and an unbleached, calico-like appearance. This simple, practical fabric has a slightly rustic character, with tiny flecks of natural cotton seed and subtle variations in the weave adding to its unprocessed look.
Lightweight and fairly thin, this cotton is particularly useful for making toiles, testing sewing patterns and experimenting with garment shapes and fit before cutting into your favourite fabrics. It's also a handy choice for sewing samples, craft projects, lightweight linings and other projects where a simple, inexpensive cotton cloth is needed.
As this is a natural, unbleached fabric, you can expect visible seed flecks, occasional slubs and small imperfections in the weave. These are part of its character rather than faults and make it best suited to practical sewing and craft projects rather than finished dressmaking garments.

If you change your mind about an item or have received the incorrect item then we offer a very straightforward return policy. You may return unwanted goods up to 28 days after purchase for exchange, a store credit, or a refund.
Returned merchandise must be in the condition sold with original packaging and any tags intact. Goods must be unused, unopened, in perfect condition and remain in a re-saleable condition. Non-returnable items include kits once they have been cut, cut lengths of fabric, ribbons or trim, samples, sale items, and ex-demonstration items.
